The name Hungaroton virtually equals Hungarian record production. As one of Europe's most reputable labels, our catalog features the play, voice, and works of nearly every influential artist of the past 70 years. We aim to record the play of the next generation of great Hungarian artists who have already achieved international fame. From time to time, however, we deem it essential to introduce our legendary recordings to newer generations of music lovers.

After 80 years surrounded by classical music, mostly the Romantics, only today I discovered the persona of Tamás Vásáry. He is an excellent pianist, I don't know how I could have missed him.
I was 10 when I first heard her oan an album my father bought (muzsikas). Het voice always enchated me to the point I can't listen to hungarian music without thinking of that album.
